Tait Farm originally used their land to grow raspberries, apples, and Christmas trees in the 1950s. They also bred Basset Hounds. Over the years, they developed their own recipes for Tait Farm food products. The first was their Original Shrub, a tart raspberry drink, introduced in 1987. Located not far from the festival near Centre Hall, Tait Farm is one of the dozen PA food producers featured at our Specialty Food tent. Their agriculture is certified organic and offered to the community through Community Harvest, the Community Supported Agriculture program, and daily at their farm store. They also run a seasonal Harvest Shop & Greenhouse with foods, plants, and gifts for the kitchen, home, and garden. Try some of their condiments, sauces, seasonings, spreads, and mixes – and take a taste of Tait Farm home with you.
