Happy Valley Vineyard & Winery

76 S. Foxpointe Drive, State College, PA 16801

Located in State College, the vineyard at Happy Valley Winery produces specific varietals that transform well into our stylistic wines. We strive for perfection in the vineyard as well as in the winery, which in turn produces flavorful crisp clean wines.

Sand Castle Winery

755 River Road, Erwinna, PA 18920

Sand Castle Winery, nestled on the banks of the Delaware River in historic Bucks County, Pennsylvania, is the purveyor of world class wines with a long and noble heritage.

Sand Castle’s founders, Joseph and Paul Maxian, were born and raised in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia, a region renowned for wine making before even the Romans ruled the world. In 1974 our family purchased a hillside property in Bucks County overlooking the Delaware River and our dream of Sand Castle Winery was born. In the early 1980s, we began construction of the winery building. Against all odds, and after decades of continuous effort, our Castle was finally completed in 2007.

Starr Hill Vineyard & Winery

61 Bailey Rd, Curwensville, PA 16833

Ken Starr learned the art of making wine by his father’s side in 1952. When stationed in Europe in the early 60’s, Ken visited many wineries and appreciated the German style of wine making. He started making wine on his own from 1966 to 1977. In 1994 he purchased property in Curwensville, Pennsylvania and planted 12 vines. By 1998 there were 3000 vines… Concord, Niagara, Traminette, Foch and Leon Millot. He built a winery in 1998 and started making wine again. The wine was good, prompting him to go commercial in 2005. He has now brought the Old World Ambiance to Curwensville! We produce the largest selection of wines in the county and welcome you to come visit us and have a taste of Clearfield County! Today the romance and the talent are passing once again to Ken’s son and his sons, now four Generations of wine makers and the tradition continues.
